The area has an abundance of leasing activity with several operators permitting and drilling into the Marcellus Shale. An increase of additional activity seems to suggest interest in the Utica, Genesee and other prospective gas plays.

The package consists of approximately 132,000 acres of oil and gas rights located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The rights will be conveyed in the form of a 10 year lease including all oil and gas formations or horizons located below the Tully to basement. The acreage is leased using a standard form lease with limited exceptions.
